We've had a few days out in Brighton over the years but never stayed there before, so this was very much a fact-finding holiday. We've identified a few areas that we like, so will be concentrating our flat/house-hunting efforts there. As you say, it's a good base for exploring other areas too.
Just got to find a place that ticks all our boxes now!
