Aaaarghhh!! and Aaaarghhh!!

First Aaaarghhh!! goes to Live Journal. I've only just realised that I haven't been getting any comment notifications. It was only because I did receive a couple this evening - for comments that were posted four or five days ago - that I cottoned on that something was amiss. So, big apologies for not responding to all your comments on my recent posts, folks. I suppose I haven't really got back into the swing of things since I got back off my hols, otherwise I should have known that the silence was a little bit deafening!

Second Aaaarghhh!! is just because Aaaarghhh!! I'm not on holiday anymore!! *sob*. Doesn't take long for the old bloody routine to take over, does it? At least we had a couple of free days after we got back, before we picked MIL up from the respite care home. Had a lovely day out in York with Izzy the day after we got home, and then the next day we had a walk through the park with her then took her to our local for lunch, and very nice it was too. Sadly, it's all been downhill from there... Nothing specific, just... bleh.

So, in an attempt to cheer myself up a bit, here are a few last random pics from my hols...

Your lj cut is working fine - my notifications seem to be working, but for some reason lj won't post portrait-oriented pics unless I scale them down manually - waaah! On the other hand, they were brilliant about responding to my help support request, and even though they can't fix the issue immediately, they gave me a work-around until they can...

Posting all these holiday pics was not without its troubles either - not the same problem as you've been having though! I was having to upload pics twice before they appeared on my LJ. The other thing I noticed is that I made the pics smaller so that they didn't overwhelm my LJ, but it seems that you can't click through to make them bigger once you've done that.

It's very annoying...
