A sad farewell...

Goodbye to my dear friend moonlightmead. We knew your leaving was imminent (even though you'd been thumbing your nose at the doctors' prognosis for several months now) but when the news came this morning it still hit hard.

So many people around the world, both in Pros fandom and elsewhere, will be trying tonight to come to terms with your passing. You were such an exuberant, effervescent character and I'm sure many will agree that you were part of our lives for far too short a time.

Farewell, my friend. No more pain for you now xxx

Nicely put, C. There have been some lovely tributes to her online, here, FB etc. When someone dies people always say, 'A sad loss' and it sounds a bit trite but in this case it really 'is' a very sad and tragic loss. Life's a complete bugger sometimes. RIP lovely Moonlightmead.

Absolutely. She had such vitality and zest for life that it just doesn't seem possible that she isn't with us anymore.
